TREATMENT INFORMATION

How the treatment works

Your treatment is planned after an individual consultation and suitability assessment.

How the treatment works

01A small amount of blood is taken and processed in a medical centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma.
02For facial rejuvenation, concentrated PRP may be applied or injected into selected areas and can be combined with microneedling.
03For hair restoration, PRP is injected into the scalp to support weakened hair follicles and encourage healthier hair growth.

TREATMENT FAQ

Your questions answered.

A small blood sample is collected and processed in a centrifuge. The concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then applied or injected into the target area. Facial PRP may also be combined with microneedling.
Because PRP uses your own blood components, it is generally well tolerated. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur around treated areas.
Response varies. Skin improvements may begin to appear over the following weeks and continue as collagen and regenerative activity develop. Hair restoration results also require time and depend on the individual.
The old clinic guidance commonly used a course of around 3–4 sessions spaced approximately four weeks apart, but your current plan should be based on assessment, treatment area and individual goals.
PRP involves blood collection and, depending on the treatment, injections or microneedling. Some discomfort is possible. Topical anaesthetic may be considered where appropriate.
