Where can dermal filler be injected?

Common areas include the cheeks, jawline, chin, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, nose and, in suitable clients, tear troughs. Lip filler is covered separately on Galadia’s dedicated Lip Filler page.

Is dermal filler painful?

Dermal filler injections are generally well tolerated. Many fillers contain local anaesthetic, and topical numbing cream may also be used when appropriate.

When will I see the result?

Many clients notice a visible change immediately, although swelling can temporarily affect the result. Filler usually settles over around 2–4 weeks.

How long does dermal filler last?

Dermal filler may last around 6–12 months, although this varies between products, treatment areas and individuals.

What is non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses carefully placed filler to refine selected aspects of nasal shape, such as smoothing a bump or improving profile balance. Suitability must be assessed carefully.

Can tear trough filler help dark circles?

Tear trough filler may help when dark circles are related to under-eye hollowness and shadowing. It is not suitable for every type of under-eye concern, so assessment is essential.
